OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Our neighborhood provides the perfect Parisian experience from sunny, outdoor brasseries to the latest shopping on Rue des Francs Bourgeois to romantic walks along the Seine. Within a five-minute walk of the apartment, youll find famous cultural sites such as the Place des Vosges, Musée Picasso, Musée Carnavalet, Archives Nationales, Musée Cognac Jay and the Swedish Cultural Institute. Ten minutes further and you can enjoy Hotel de Ville, the Pompidou Center, the Bastille Opera, the Seine River, Notre Dame and Hotel de Sully.
On Rue des Francs Bourgeois and other nearby streets you can find great shopping. Highlights include stores such as Plein Sud, LEclaireur, Barbara Bui, L'Occitane, Zadig and Voltaire, Lolita Lempicka, Muji, Ordning and Reda and Christophe Delcourt, along with unique indie stores such as Les Mille Feuilles, Home Autour du Monde, Nickel and more.
The choice of restaurants is limitless and some of the better ones include Le Petit Dakar, Camille, Le Réconfort, Si, Le Pamphlet and Gli Angeli. For coffee try Café Beaubourg, The Royal Cafe or LApparemment. On nearby Rue Rambuteau you can find a full choice of bakeries, food markets, cheese markets and traiteurs for a complete Parisian experience. All of this makes the Marais one of the most sought after arrondissements for the 21st century.
